Development and reproductive Health. Mr. Jones has recently been appointed a member of the Chairmen's Panel, meaning that he will chair debates in Westminster Hall from October 2005.
Mr. Jones writes widely in parliamentary journals, as well as other publications that are interested in the various campaigns that Martyn conceives and participates within.
A former Microbiologist by trade, Martyn Jones worked for the Wrexham Lager Beer Company before election to Parliament.
He was educated at Grove Park Grammar School, Wrexham; Liverpool Polytechnic; Stockport Polytechnic; Manchester Polytechnic and Trent Polytechnic. He is a member of the Institute of Biology. In his free time, he enjoys participating in Clay Pigeon Shooting, Hill Walking, Sailing and Tennis.
Mr. Jones' Main Political Interests
Agriculture, Welsh Affairs, Environmental Issues, as well as Population and Development are considered to be Mr. Jones' broad areas of concern. He offers a lot of time and effort in his fight for action on the scandalous issue of Dormant Accounts and is a rational proponent of the Welsh Assembly .
He has offered time and effort to the campaign to save Wrexham Lager , which has culminated in a firm plan to recommence brewing of the late lager.
