Martyn Jones pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This Sunday marks Remembrance Day and Martyn Jones MP urges all people to take at least a brief moment out of their weekend to reflect on the tremendous sacrifices that our armed forces have made and continue to make in the interests of preserving our freedom.

Martyn Jones will attend the Rhos and District Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade this Sunday. This will take place at the Cenotaph in Johnstown.

In a short statement Mr Jones commented:

“It is right that we remember all our brothers and sisters in arms. They fought, suffered injury and died to preserve everything we hold dear. We remember their outstanding courage in the face of overwhelming adversity, their bravery when all around them seemed hopeless and their constant and steadfast courage in spite of the shattering noise of enemy fire.

They fought and continue to fight so that the horrors which they suffered would never touch this land and their loved ones. We offer our prayers and immense gratitude for a debt that can never be repaid in honouring a two-minute silence on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day in the eleventh month. They shall never be forgotten.”
