MARTYN JONES MP BACKS GORDON BROWN TO BE NEXT LEADER OF THE LABOUR PARTY

MARTYN JONES MP (Clwyd South) today gave his support to Gordon Brown, in the contest to elect a new Leader of the Labour Party.

Commenting Martyn Jones said:

"Over the last ten years as Chancellor, Gordon has created a strong economy, reduced child and pensioner poverty and cut unemployment right across the UK.

"I believe Gordon has the vision and determination to bring even greater benefits for our country in the future.

"That's why I am supporting Gordon for the Leadership of our Party."
