Martyn Jones MP announces his full support for the Prime Minister’s ‘Politics of Conviction’
24th September 2007
Following Gordon Brown’s address to the Labour Party Conference today (24th September 2007) Martyn Jones MP praised the Prime Minister’s speech as one of vision and determination:
“The Prime Minister’s speech put aside petty partisan squabbles and dealt with the issues that truly face the British public. He laid out plans to revitalise the NHS, to increase paid maternity leave, to raise the national minimum wage and to guarantee the deserved respect of Britain’s elderly.
Gordon Brown’s message has confirmed, he has the vision to lead Britain and the effects of his speech will be felt not just in the Labour Party Conference Hall but by all the British people, including my constituents of Clwyd South.”
